GLYCATED HEMOGLOBIN A1C: IMMUNOTURBIDIMETRY AND IMMUNOFLUORESCENCE METHODS

Objective: to compare the two immunological methods of HbA1c determination available at university hospital centers in capital Madagascar. Methods:Prospective comparative study between HbA1C assay techniquesat University Hospital Center Joseph RavoahangyAndrianavalona and RasetaBefelatanana both localized Antananarivo Madagascar was conducted. The techniques used are immunoturbidimetry immunofluorescence. Fifty samples were run simultaneously on assess dispersion correlation values. A history haemoglobin abnormalities is previously researched medical records for samples. Results:The coefficient 2 0.97. Bland –Altman plot shows a funnel-shaped appearance. Interclass Correlation Coefficient 0.851 CI [-0.036 - 0.962]. No hemoglobin documented any 50 Conclusion: It essential keep same technique monitoring HbA1c. Our poor reproducibility compared. strong relationship value found extreme important specify support prescribers.
